Wacomark has quit making payments. It was quite a disappointment all the way around! Please do not deposit money here.
I have recently added a new short term HYIP program called Wacomark to the monitoring list. This Wacomark review should give you a good overview so that you may decide if you want to add it to your investment portfolio.
At first glance, Wacomark looks like many HYIP programs we have seen running in the past with only one investment plan listed – 10% for 20 days. Whether that proves to be a good thing or not, remains to be seen and only time will tell us if it will be a hit like some of the others. The website just launched within the last 24 hours and it is listed with eight monitors already. With the right advertising and promotion and coupled with the right administration, the program might stand a good chance of success.
One Investment Plan
Wacomark has only one investment plan to choose from and it is a simple one that other recent programs have achieved a bit of success with. The plan pays 10% interest every calendar day for a total of 20 days. The minimum amount to join this plan is $20 and the maximum tops at $25,000. Considering other HYIP programs that have only one plan the minimum amount required to join might be considered a little higher than normal. I doubt it will affect the program much as the HYIP market seems to be revving up quite a bit in the last few weeks, which is a good sign!
The principal is included in the daily payments and it is an option that seems to be continually growing more popular with many investors. For example, if you invest $100, you will receive $10 a day for 20 days for $200 total. After the 10th day, you will be in profit and at the end of the 20 day term you will have doubled your investment. In their TOS – Terms of Service, they ask that you allow up to 48 hours for payment to your payment processor be completed but in reality, I would expect it to be much faster.
Only one account is allowed per household but if you desire a 2nd account for a spouse or other family member, the admin asks that you e-mail him in advance to get permission.
List of Payment Processors Accepted
Wacomark has an acceptable amount of payment processors including LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, and SolidTrustPay. Payza (old AlertPay) is to be added soon. They have already submitted their information to Payza and are currently waiting for approval now. It usually takes around 1-2 weeks for approval to come back, so it shouldn't be too long for those that prefer to invest using this payment processor. The payment option is available in the Make Payments section but when I checked option and submitted for processing, Payza announced that the site is not accepted for processing yet. When the admin lets me know that Payza was approved and ready for acceptance, I will be sure to post it on my blog to let you all know.
Hosting, Security and DDoS Protection
Wacomark is running on a GoldCoders script and Koddos is providing their hosting and DDoS protection. I'm not feeling so sure about the ability of Koddos to fend off a big DDoS attack and will be interested to see how they do in this area. There are definitely better providers out there for DDoS protection but it will depend on how hard they get hit and if Koddos support is able to mitigate it. Lately, it seems if a HYIP program gets too popular, they end up switching to one of the better DDoS protection providers which is also a possibility for Wacomark in the future.
An SSL certificate has not been installed on the website and I'm not sure if the admin plans to install one since the program has launched but they do have security options for the investors enabled in the script. They are off by default but if you go to the Security Settings page, you can enable IP address change and browser detect change to help thwart any hacking attempts on your account. If you try to access the site with a different browser after you have enabled the browser detect option, it will ask you to go to your e-mail inbox in order to retrieve a code from an e-mail that will have been sent at the same time you logged in. I think it's a good idea to enable both of these protections unless you plan to access the site from several different computers or from different locations. It never hurts to be a little safer these days.
The Wacomark domain was registered at namecheap.com and was registered on 6/5/2012 for a period of one year and expiring on the same date in 2013. WhoisGuard protection was used to keep the identity of the owner private. All of this is pretty usual in the HYIP industry, especially for a short term program. I like to check this because sometimes a really serious admin will register his domain for 3-5 years to make sure that no one else can reserve the name and also to let the public know that he plans to stay a while.
Support Options
I e-mailed the support department twice this morning at the e-mail listed for support – contact@wacomark.com. I don't know if they are extremely busy or if this is just in their off time but the first one was sent 5 hours ago and I have not received a reply on either yet. It concerned me a little because they list 24/7 support on their website. On their support page they list 5 support options: Live Support (real-time chat), Support Ticket, Yahoo Messenger, Skype or E-Mail. Usually, I would say this is a very nice list of support options but if nobody is seldom available then support is usually not very good. I try not to be impatient but if you consider the fact that the site just launched in the last 24 hours, you would think they would be hungry for customers.
Wacomark does have the potential to become popular and grow in time, provided it is managed right and advertising is gradually increased with time. I've noticed it is in the 3 major forums as well and I wish them a good start as long as their intentions are good. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or if it is more important, it is better to reach me by e-mail address at hyipmoneyreport@gmail.com. Also, please don't forget to check the monitoring pages before investing. I will always make any changes to it as instantly as I find out about it to try to keep anybody from spending any unnecessary money.
